Refund Policy

Our goal at Demroo is to offer specialist eCheck processing services that are directly connected to financial systems. These services include check creation, verification, and other software-related features. All transactions made through Demroo are non-refundable due to the nature of these services, which are carried out in real-time and frequently involve third-party institutions.

It is crucial to remember that although our services are intended to validate checks and guarantee correct processing, we are unable to confirm that checks will be cleared or approved by your financial institution. Checks can only be approved or rejected in accordance with your bank’s or financial institution’s policies and procedures. Demroo therefore disclaims any responsibility for cheques that are returned or not paid.

Refund Requests for Returned or Unpaid Checks

Please be aware that checks returned unpaid for any reason—insufficient funds, account closures, stop payments, or other—will not be refunded by Demroo. Our responsibility is restricted to processing checks using the data you have given us; we are unable to verify or ensure the accuracy or legitimacy of the checks that are issued. Refund requests based on returned or unpaid cheques will thus not be fulfilled.

Additionally, it is the merchant’s duty to confirm that every transaction made using our platform is authentic and approved by the account user. Transaction failures that come from incomplete or inaccurate information are not eligible for chargebacks or reimbursements.

Refunds Upon Account Closure

If your account is closed, Demroo will return any money that was paid in advance, less any service or maintenance fees that may have been charged. Demroo must receive a written request in order to start the refund procedure. Within 45 days of receiving the request, refunds will be handled and either placed into the original funding account or granted using the original payment method.

Please take note of the following conditions to be eligible for a reimbursement when your account is closed:

  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method or the originating bank account.

  • Refunds for corporate accounts must be returned to the corporate entity’s bank account. We do not issue refunds to individual or personal accounts for corporate funds.

  • No refunds will be issued for dissolved corporations, entities no longer in operation, or accounts with unresolved legal or regulatory matters.

  • Demroo reserves the right to deduct any outstanding balances, fees, or penalties owed at the time of account closure from the prepaid balance before issuing a refund.

Non-Refundable Services

Demroo offers various services that are considered non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Check verification services, which are performed as part of our agreement but do not guarantee check clearance.

  • Software-related services such as check creation, automation tools, and other eCheck processing solutions, which are provided on an as-is basis once delivered.

  • Custom integrations or services specifically developed for your business needs.

Changes to the Refund Policy

At any time, Demroo retains the right to change or adjust our refund policy. By continuing to use our services, you agree to these terms, and any revisions or changes will be announced through proper channels.
